Grounded Line 1/4-wave Monopole Antenna

The Splatch uses a grounded-line technique to achieve outstanding performance from a tiny surface-mount element. This RoHS compliant antenna is designed to mount directly to a product's circuit board by hand or automated assembly. Its low cost makes it ideal for volume applications. Unlike many compact antennas, the Splatch exhibits good proximity performance, making it an appropriate choice for handheld applications such as remote controls, pagers, and alert devices. While typical performance is below that of some external whip antennas, the Splatch is an excellent choice when cosmetic or mechanical issues dictate the use of an internal antenna.
