Industry Innovators Announce Collaborative Agreement
Merlin, Oregon — April 1, 2009 — Parallax Corp. and Linx Technologies, Inc. today announced their agreement to a range of business and technical collaborations which will create new opportunities for both companies and their customers.
We are delighted to formally define an OEM relationship between Linx and Parallax,
said Linx President Paul True. Our companies have great respect for each other and share "can do" atmospheres of innovation and creativity. This collaboration provides a refreshing example of how innovative businesses, with complementary philosophies and product lines, can partner to enhance creativity and provide enriched customer satisfaction.
Parallax Vice President Ken Gracey added, Our customers need reliable sources of RF products — they don't like end-of-life notices and they really value consistency and quality. This is one of the direct benefits brought by Linx, in addition to helping us offer a very capable, low-price, long-distance RF product for our customers.
As a result of this agreement, Parallax customers can expect an expanded range of products featuring Linx components. The companies also plan to jointly sponsor an open processor design contest to challenge and reward customers' engineering skill and creativity.
